Sale-born HARK's art is about textures, colours and shapes. It is not about metaphor, allusion or making things look like other things. Even her photographs are accidental, explorations of technique rather than pictures of things. For Hark, art is an excuse to make something attractive and a terrible mess of the kitchen. This often results in lovely things like the one you're probably looking at now, but it doesn't make a very good artist's statement.
